Hello, my name is Mark Beckert and I am a Cabinetmaker who
specializes in Clocks and Pennsylvania German furniture.
I am a one man shop so each Clock, from design to the finish,
is made by me personally.
All my Clocks are made from hand selected hardwoods which
feature the best figure and grain character. The finish first
starts with a hand rubbed coat of natural oil to bring out the
woods natural beauty. I then apply several coats of Shellac to
seal and protect the wood then rub the entire case with 4-5 coats
of high quality Carnauba and Bee's Wax.
This extensive finishing process produces a beautiful glowing
antique patina that is not only appealing to the eye but to the
observer's hand as well! The movements I use are German
made Hermle movements. They are the most durable made and
have a 3 year warranty.
I take great pride in handcrafting each and every one of my
Clocks and I believe that pride will be evident when your Clock
is placed in your home.
